27 YEARS TEACHING ENGLISH Literature AND language
During the last two decades, I have taught English literature and language in both the state and private sectors.
I started my teaching career in Ipswich and Aylesbury, moving to the Malvern area in 2000.
During this time, I have taught at Hereford Sixth Form College, Malvern St James and most recently at The Chase in Malvern. I also held the position of coordinator for Initial Teacher Training at The Chase.
My work experience includes examining for AQA English Language GCSE. I have also examined at Advanced Level English Literature.
Over the years, I have prepared students for GCSE English Literature and Language, A Level English Literature, A Level English Language, A Level Communication Studies.
I believe enjoyment and achievement go hand in hand. Learning can be about games and fun activities or disciplined study – it is about finding the method which best fits the student.
